Length of object = length of magnified object ÷ magnification

For example, if a specimen appeared 10 mm in length under a microscope with a magnification of 1,000 times, the calculation of the actual length would be: Length of object = 10 ÷ 1000 = 0.01 mm

Image result for magnification formulaTo calculate total magnification the formula is Magnification= measured size divided by actual size.

whats the difference between magnification and resolution?

Magnification is the potential to make small objects seem larger such as making something more visible. Resolution is the potential to tell the difference between two objects.

  1. Hey!

Looks like we have some work missing here. Could you try to sort it this week? Alternatively, we could do it together in catch up tomorrow?
