How does Shakespeare build tension and play with the idea of fate?
Dramatic irony is a way that Shakespeare plays with the idea of fate and builds tension. When Calpurnia told Caeser that she has had bad omens and that he shouldn’t go out because he will die. He said ok I will stay home then Decius Brutus came into the house to take him to the Capitol.

Hello Gentrit,
This is unfinished. I would suggest that you begin to critically analyse the language in this scene and how this helps to contribute to the development of dramatic irony. Which lines of dialogue help to raise our sense of anticipation? Why?
